My Story

“Blue Truck Hot Sauce is a one-man, cottage business producing small batch, organic hot sauces and salsas. Grown and made in Winona, MN. BTHS developed from my passion for gardening, international travel, spicy food, hot peppers, and sharing my garden fresh produce and hot sauces with friends and customers.

I specialize in three different hot sauces, two BBQ sauces, fresh salsas and salsa verde, a few limited runs of experimental hot sauces, pickled peppers, and a few small batches of classic Mexican dried peppers. I grow all my own peppers, tomatoes, tomatillos, onion, garlic, carrots, and herbs used in my sauces and salsas. This ensures the best quality produce, controlled from seed selection to final harvest. No shortcuts, no inferior ingredients, no pesticides or herbicides. Fresh, local, organic, and delicious.

My preference is to sell locally, literally off my porch, to Winonans. However, I am willing to ship on a limited basis with a minimum order of three or more items to make shipping more economical.

In the spring, I sell a large variety of starter pepper and tomato plants so you can grow your own fresh produce.
